In-Circuit Emulator&Writer Instruction Download

Sunplus Technology provides an In-Circuit Emulator&Writer for SPMC65X Family. All of the member device in SPMC65X family can be emulated on it and the user code can be programmed into OTP by it.
The Emulator&Writer must integrate with corresponding software development tool to implement its function. The picture of practicality is shown below:

The connection method among the Emulator&Writer, PC and the user's target board

Connect the in-circuit Emulator&Writer and the user's target board via a device adapter and powered them up. You can use an external DC-9V to supply the power for the user's target board via the power port. After that, the power indicator in the Emulator&Writer is lighted; you can perform the operation of emulating or programming.
The emulator must work cooperate with the operation of download, compile, and debug in FortisIDE. On the Emulator&Writer, there are two lights, one is run indicator and the other is sleep indicator. The run indicator will be lighted when the system is performing download or under the debug mode; the sleep indicator will be lighted when the system entered the sleep mode.
When you perform the programming operation, insert the device into the programming socket and follow the corresponding procedures in Q-Writer.
